Amanda Preston is not a musical instrument or a sharp kitchen implement contrary to what her name would lead you to believe.
She’s an artist/creator who primarily works with oil paints and surrealism-based art concepts, but really enjoys anything that has a foundation in the arts.
Amanda began creating as a child while watching her mother paint murals on the walls of local buildings. She continued practicing throughout schooling until enrolling in the university of the fraser valley where she studied various visual arts, history, peace studies and theatre.
Shortly after she moved to wells, she found the inspiration to create in ways she wouldn’t have otherwise considered, due to the environment, way of life, and the individuals.
